(BNamericas.com) Brazilian startup telco Telefree is partnering with Miami-based internet telephony software company VoIP Group to provide VoIP services, according to a company statement.
VoIP Group will supply Telefree with VSC softswitch software to manage its residential and corporate VoIP services.
Telefree holds STFC licenses allowing it to supply services in the regions of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Londrina.
"For the residential and corporate market, we are offering a pre- and postpaid service where the client does not have to pay upfront for the acquisition of services or buy any kind of equipment," Telefree general manager Telmo Fernandes said.
